Pope Benedict XVI used to be called “God’s Rottweiler.” Last week, I mused on how cool it would be if my Catholic blog gets off the ground and I became known as “God’s Pit Bull.” My brother retorted, “You’re more like God’s Chihuahua.”
Postscript: SF Bishop William Levada has been named the new director of the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith. Since he’ll be upholding church dogma and he is an American, might he be “God’s Pit Bull”?
